Rye Park is a small rural school located in the South West of New South Wales. It is 42 kilometres North West of Yass and 21 kilometres from Boorowa. The school is well maintained and is attractively located among gardens and grounds which enhance the appearance. Students have contributed significantly to the development of the gardens while the parent body has purchased and constructed many items of play equipment and shelter. The school is a popular meeting place for parents and community members. The links between community and school are strong and valued by all members and school events are well supported by our community. Our purpose is to provide a well-rounded education to all students. This is achieved by taking into consideration their individual needs and planning learning experiences in which they will become successful learners. Our school recognises the importance of sporting and cultural excursions to balance our isolated location. We believe this should happen within a school environment which is happy and safe for all students.
